Best Family Car 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe

RealAutoTips. - The next best family car 2015 is Chevrolet Tahoe. The Chevrolet Tahoe is a holdout in a modern world that combining the best of hard-working truck technology with convenience—and even luxury—features of any modern vehicle and the comfort. The Chevrolet Tahoe can charge your iPad, seat up to 7, stream data, haul your boat, and go surprisingly well off-road. The Chevrolet Tahoe is a versatile, impressive machine.

According review from Carandriver site that test first driver show us that the Chevrolet Tahoe is one of Chevrolet’s primary rainmakers, a truck packed with greenbacks that still rules a segment competitors have let languish. The Tahoe and its larger Suburban sibling alone account for nearly 50 percent of full-size-SUV sales; mix in the numbers generated by the GMC Yukon models, and the market dominance becomes a smackdown. Because of course it did, Chevy launched the new Tahoe in Lake Tahoe, California, and Chevy’s rainmaker even brought some much-needed precipitation to the drought-ridden area.

According Thecarconnection site also describe that the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe is a derivative of GM's big pickup-truck and SUV family of vehicles, so the Tahoe's look is familiar. The front end's close to that of the 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup truck, but Chevy says the two vehicles don't share any sheetmetal. Elsewhere, the Tahoe's very crisply folded wagon body has much more in common with the 2015 Chevy Suburban--its long-wheelbase companion--and with the 2015 GMC Yukon. The Tahoe sits on a wheelbase 116 inches long; the Suburban's span is 130 inches. (GMC's Yukon has the same parallel with the Yukon XL.)

Carandrive also describe that much of the Tahoe’s newness carries over from the new-for-2014 Silverado pickup, which is already on sale. Although the frames are different between pickup and SUV, much of the same engineering enhancements apply to the Tahoe. The frame is fully boxed, and 75 percent of it is rendered in high-strength steel. In front, hydroformed rails and new front-axle mounts help increase structural rigidity, Chevy claims, from 16 Hz to 21 Hz. (This, as you might surmise, is a good amount, and also a good thing.) The body structure has been similarly stiffened through an increased use of high-strength steel. On certain suspension impacts, you can still feel small quivers coming through the structure, but they dissipate faster than before.

  1. Running your vehicle's air conditioning is no worse for your gas mileage than driving with your windows down. As your vehicle speeds up, air flow creates a drag against the vehicle, making the engine work harder and hurting gas mileage. In fact, air conditioning can be a more efficient option at higher speeds.
