Develop Electric Car Batteries, Daimler cooperation with BMW and Audi?

RealAutoTips. - Daimler as the parent company of Mercedes-Benz was competing with two others, namely the German manufacturer BMW and Audi. But apparently, the three German car companies will cooperate. Is it true?

As reported Leftlanenews, Tuesday (22/09/2015), Daimler reportedly is in talks with two competitors. These talks led to the production of batteries for electric vehicles the latest generation.

Previously, Audi, BMW and Daimler already partnered to buy Nokia Here. All three have poured billions of dollars to secure high-precision mapping of the data to be used in the autonomous vehicle of the future.

Now, all three reportedly are considering further cooperation. Partnership was done to help build a stronger competitive position.

Battery technology has been mentioned by the Head of Daimler, Dieter Zetsche as one of the possible outcomes of cooperation. "There is cooperation between the German manufacturer. Nokia Here causing approaches and may lead to other areas," he said.

Unfortunately, Zetsche did not provide further details. However, the recent Mercy reportedly preparing to challenge the Tesla electric car.

If news about the alliances between the three German automotive giant is true, battery results of this partnership will not appear until the third company it is completely ready to produce electric cars in large quantities. Perhaps the result of this new collaboration is born the end of this decade.
